1.If you choose to make payment using Debit / Credit card mode, go through the Instruction booklet / User Guide carefully and be ready with ALL the required mandatory details given below .

Karnataka PGCET is an OMR paper-pen based common entrance exam directed by Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) for admission to first semester of first year  full-time and part-time academic courses of study in M.E /M.Tech/ M.Arch in government, university/ private-aided /private un-aided professional educational institutions in the state of Karnataka. This test is important for both Karnataka and Non-Karnataka state candidates intent of admission to courses in M.E /M.Tech/ M.Arch in colleges in Karnataka. 

The KEA has also been authorized to conduct entrance test to fill seats for these courses under management quota if the managements make a request to it in this regard.

Eligibility for Karnataka PGCET 2016:-

Applicants planning to appear for this exam need to fulfill some eligible criteria for any of the 

For Full Time M.E. / M.Tech / M.Arch:-

• Valid GATE score
• Passed qualifying examination or an equivalent examination prescribed by a competent authority and obtained an aggregate if 50 percent marks taken together in all subjects of all the years/semesters of the degree examination/Qualifying Examination (Q.E) is eligible for admission to M.E. / M.Tech / M.Arch courses. 45% of marks in Q. E. in case of SC, ST and Category-I candidates. (Reservation is applicable only for Karnataka Candidates).

For Part Time M.E. / M.Tech / M.Arch courses:-

• Passed prescribed qualifying examination or equivalent examination as prescribed by the Competent Authority and obtained an aggregate minimum of 50% marks taken together in all the subjects of all the years / semesters of the Degree Examination/Qualifying Examination (Q.E) is eligible for admission to M.E. / M.Tech / M.Arch courses. 45% of marks in Q. E. in case of SC, ST and Category-I candidates.
